The Kilton Inn Pub: Serving The Best Pub Grub And Drinks
AG HOTELS GROUP is delighted to announce the acquisition of The Kilton Inn Pub, formerly part of The Chef & Brewer collection owned by Greene King. The pub, built in the 16th century, is steeped in history and is rumoured to have once served as a prison. It is also believed that infamous highwayman Dick Turpin had an association with The Kilton Inn. The pub is named after a beloved horse, Kilton, who won the prestigious Knutsford Gold Cup in 1796 and was owned by Mr Thomas Langford Brooke of Mere Hall.
Girish Grover, CEO of AG Hotels Group, expressed his
excitement over the acquisition, stating that it is in line with the company’s
vision of expanding its portfolio and investing in creating happy and thriving
places. He also shared that their focus for The Kilton Inn Pub is to enhance
the guest experience, increase their service level, and further engage with the
local community.
The Kilton Inn Pub is located in the rural hamlet of Hoo
Green in Knutsford and has a prominent position on the main A50 road. The pub’s
welcoming atmosphere, candlelit tables, and roaring fireplaces make it a
popular dining venue for couples and a favourite weekend lunch spot for
families. Knutsford, the quaint and quirky market town where the pub is
located, is one of the must-see regions in the area.
The Kilton Inn Pub is situated just over twenty miles
south of Manchester and nine miles north of Macclesfield Knutsford, part of
Cheshire’s affluent Golden Triangle. With the rich history of the pub and its
location in the heart of Knutsford, The Kilton Inn Pub is sure to remain a
popular destination for both
locals and visitors alike.
